This was the first time iCandy had held such an event, so it was crucial that it was a success and we were there to help all the way. We worked at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse to create two distinctive themes, for a day time brand launch and an evening charity dinner.
The brand launch had a bright, raw, clean cut feel with an industrial edge, focussed on the new products.
We then completely transformed the space into an ‘enchanted forest’ for the evening. Guests arrived to walk through a starry night tunnel, in a misty haze they met with mystical creatures leading to a drinks reception. The setting was lavish and luxurious, tables set with huge vases of fruit and foliage and low fog rolled over the tables and onto the floor. The stage was dressed with foliage, colourful plants and oversized exotic trees. Pixies, demons, a tarot card reader, ‘pick pockets’ and a magician added to the immersive atmosphere while the band played, followed by Sophie Ellis-Bextor on the decks.
‘The Event’ exceeded all expectations, with an incredible response from retailers, funds raised for Great Ormond Street and products selling out on the day.
