The back of the Old Brodleians RUFC Under 9s rugby shirts!
Old Brodleians RUFC is an amateur rugby union club, based in Hipperholme, West Yorkshire, with teams from U6s through to four senior teams.
Directors Tom and Rob have rugby in their blood, having played together in various teams since the age of eight. Tom went on to play professional rugby for Leeds Tykes (now Yorkshire Carnegie), and in his previous job, Rob worked closely with the 2003 England Rugby World Cup team, producing key player analytics for Clive Woodward’s coaching team.
Rob wanted to make sure that his son, Max, followed in his footsteps and so took him down to Old Brods at the age of six…and he’s been coaching the team ever since! Rob’s developed a squad of fifteen players, and is supported by fellow parents and volunteers whose contribution is invaluable.
When the team grew out of their old playing shirts at the end of last season, Rob suggested that we build on the good work we’ve been doing in the local community, and subsidise the purchase of some new shirts for them.
